This weblog is devoted to preserving some of the homey wisdom that my own Grannie passed on to me. It also contains wisdom she MIGHT have passed to me, had I been paying attention; or wisdom I WISH she had passed to me, but was too polite to bring up in ordinary conversation. It also contains some common sense and wisdom I have been learning from other grandmothers along the way, and which I am sharing with you in a grandmotherly way.
